In January 2009, the 'GM' playground was finally removed.
The playground had been an icon of Glen Massey School for around 20 years and served the students well.
We had a great turn out of parents to help on the day.
The playground will be missed but we are extremely fortunate in that we already have a much newer one on the school grounds that the students can carry on using.
With time, the students of Glen Massey will be asked how they want to use the space that is now left behind.
